Required Forms for Sport Participation Students planning to participate in KML Athletics must have the necessary athletic forms on file. Athletes will NOT be allowed to participate in a fall sport without the required paperwork.
All forms are posted at https://kmlchargers.com/athletic-paperwork/, are available in the rack outside the Main Office, or can be picked up from the Activities Office. Please contact Mrs. Amy Nass (amy.nass@kmlhs.org) with any questions you may have about required paperwork or what your child has submitted or is missing. All forms should be on file at KML prior to the first practice/tryout clinic. Forms may be mailed or dropped off in the Main Office. Athletes will NOT be allowed to try out or practice without the proper paperwork on file.
Equipment and Uniforms Athletes are issued uniforms at the beginning of each sports season. The proper care of that equipment is the duty of the athlete. Uniforms should never be bleached. Equipment or uniforms lost or damaged beyond common use must be replaced by the athlete. The cost will be based on the replacement price. Cleaned uniforms are due to the coach or Activities Office within one week after the teams’ final season game. Late fees of $5.00 per week will be assessed up to one month, after which a replacement fee will be assessed to the athlete. Uniforms should be handed in to the Activities Office in a bag with the athlete’s name included. Please be sure the uniform is cleaned, turned right-side out, and complete. Repairs should be made if possible. Please call the Activities Office with questions.
Fall Athletic Team Pictures Athletes participating in a fall sport will have a team picture taken on the dates listed below. Order forms for team and individual pictures will be sent home with each athlete at the start of their season. Purchasing pictures is optional, but all athletes must be in the team photo. Complete uniforms need to be worn. Please coordinate jersey color choice with your coaches. The schedule is as follows: Thursday, August 12

The online calendar (www.kmlhs.org/calendar) will have the most current schedule.

A schedule will be sent home with all athletes and is also posted at https://kmlchargers.com/athletic-volunteer-schedule/. If you are unable to work during your assigned time, please switch with another parent and email Mrs. Amy Nass (amy.nass@kmlhs.org) with the change. For dates when you are helping with admissions or concessions, please identify yourself to the admission takers to gain complimentary admission.
