From the Principal’s Pen
Dear KML Family,
It’s easy to take many things in life for granted. What a blessing to have our student body with us (virtually and face to face) to start this school year! Our KML faculty and staff are literally giddy with excitement to do our work with our KML family of students. We look forward to a school year that feels and looks a little different, but is filled with God’s blessings. Thank you to our students for making a gospel-motivated effort to follow our procedures as we do everything we can to enable face to face instruction for as many students and families who choose it.
FINAL KML DQ Week
This program is being discontinued, so August 16-22 is the FINAL KML DQ Week! Don’t miss this last opportunity to enjoy a creamy DQ treat while supporting KML at the same time. Get your coupon at www.kmlhs.org/dq today!
Wow! So many new families are signing up to use the SCRIP program for the first time! It is truly exciting to see them realize the financial benefit of doing so! It is never too late to get started with SCRIP! If you are not a current SCRIP user, maybe now is the time to become one. When you purchase SCRIP, you are earning credit toward your student’s or future student’s tuition and other fees.
Purchasing gift cards from our on-hand inventory (complete listing at www.kmlhs.org/scrip) is one option available. Items found on the www.shopwithscrip.com website can be ordered as well. Many of the retailers also offer re-loadable cards and/or the purchase of online certificates so you can get your SCRIP instantly, without even having to leave home!
The KML SCRIP office is open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM whenever school is in session. Please stop in and check us out!
Questions about SCRIP? Contact the SCRIP Office (email@example.com).
Required Forms for Sport Participation
Students planning to participate in KML athletics must have the necessary athletic forms on file. Athletes will NOT be allowed to participate in a fall sport without the required paperwork.
All forms are posted at https://kmlchargers.com/athletic-paperwork, are available in the rack outside the Main Office, or can be picked up from the Activities Office.
Please contact Mrs. Amy Nass (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions you may have.
Visit www.kmlchargers.com for up-to-date schedules, rosters, announcements, event scores, pictures, and more! If you are interested in sharing pictures for posting, please contact Mrs. Amy Nass (email@example.com) for more information!

Athletic event schedules are available at https://kmlchargers.com/athletic-schedule/. Specific sport schedule information is also posted on each sport’s home page. Practice calendars are posted under the MORE tab (again on each sport’s home page). Please consult the schedules in advance to avoid conflicts. Some changes in printed schedules do occur. The online calendar will have the most current schedule.
The first day of practice for football, soccer, and volleyball is Tuesday, September 8. Please take a look at their MORE – CALENDER link for open gyms, captains’ practice opportunities, etc., prior to the official first day of practice.
