![]() ![]() September 10, 2020 From the Principal’s Pen Dear KML Family, It is hard to believe we have nearly completed our fourth week of school! I am often asked how the beginning of the school year is going. The short and easy answer is that it has been great! Our new teachers have transitioned well into the KML family. Our seniors and upperclassmen are exhibiting strong Christian leadership, and our freshmen have acclimated to the high school setting. For all of this, we are thankful. We ask God to continue his watch over our entire KML family as we work together in his love. Blessings, Principal Luehring
COVID-19 Update As we navigate through this pandemic together, we will continue to communicate with families who have had a child who is in the same classes, extra-curricular activities, and within 6 feet of another student who tests positive for COVID-19. We will update this report on a weekly basis to give parents the larger picture of how many cases have occurred in our student body. In order to switch to virtual, parents need to notify the Main Office (262-677-4051; office@kmlhs.org). Total Cases (August 15 – September 9): 5
God Bless, Principal Luehring

KML “Return to Play” Plan for WIAA Athletics The 2020-2021 WIAA Fall Athletic Season has begun! Practices started up at KMLHS for cross country, cheer, girls golf, football, volleyball, and boys soccer! Our fall athletes are beyond excited to have an allowance to participate and are excitedly awaiting the start of WIAA competition! The KML “Return to Play” Plan aims to provide guidance to support health and safety best practices when our teams are at KML or on the road. This comprehensive document also shares important information for any team or fan visiting the KML campus. Please take note, especially, of our current fan attendance policy which limits indoor events to 2 guests* per KML student-athlete and outdoor events to 4 guests* per KML student-athlete. We appreciate your understanding and observance of these guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy season! *Multi-school invitationals at KML have stricter attendance policies in place. On, You Chargers!!!
Chargers For the Cure! Please support KML’s fall Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser by purchasing and wearing a THINK PINK shirt. $5.00 from each shirt will be donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin’s breast cancer research department. Shirts will be available to pre-order September 14-18. We will have a very limited number of shirts for sale after the pre-order on a first-come basis. We highly suggest ordering in advance. There are TWO ways to order:
Just a reminder to make sure you do not double up on the ordering process – either order through your student account OR online at www.kmlhs.org/pinkshirt. All sales are final. Please contact Mrs. Amy Nass (amy.nass@kmlhs.org) with order questions. Many of us know someone affected by this disease – now we have the chance to show our support by wearing a shirt and financially helping in the research effort! If you wish to make a direct donation or additional donation, please contact Mrs. Nass (amy.nass@kmlhs.org). Thank you for your support and prayers!
