![]() September 14, 2023 From the President’s Pen Dear KML Family, In a world which can be so divisive and polarized, we are reminded that our God gives us unity through his Word. We are unified with our Christian family to encourage one another and build each other up as we see the final day of this earth coming. May God lift you up and encourage you and your family as we live according to his will and way. He is God, and he has a perfect track record of promises kept. We can trust in his love and care for one another. God Bless, President Luehring
Picture Retake Day, Thursday, September 21 Picture retake day is the morning of Thursday, September 21. If your student is having their photo retaken (being photographed for the second time this year), they must return the original packet of photos to the photographer on retake day in order to receive a replacement package. Print a copy of the order form if needed. Students that did not order on initial or re-take photo days can order all school year long but using the web password provided on a proof card sent to the school. Late orders will be shipped directly to home. Questions? Contact Network Photography (262.677.8662; info@networkphoto.net).
Student Teacher Housing Needed KML is in need of housing for two student teachers from Martin Luther College from October 16 – December 22, 2023. Both are female, and one will be focusing on band instruction while the other will focus on science instruction. Both have their own vehicles and have trouble breathing around cats and dust. Neither are engaged or married. If you might be interested in hosting an MLC student teacher now or in the future, please complete the form at kmlhs.org/host-teacher.
Grandparents’ Days at KML KML invites the grandparents of our students to come for a visit on KML Grandparents’ Days! Select either Thursday, October 19, or Friday, October 20. Grandparents begin the day with coffee and donuts and learn more about KML, then join their grandchildren for chapel and spend the rest of the day with them, visiting classes and eating lunch together. KML is honored to provide lunch for our grandparents. (If a grandparent is unable to attend, another relative or special family friend is welcome to register.) For more information and to register, visit kmlhs.org/grandparents. Registration deadline: October 9, 2023. Registration is needed to ensure adequate food, seating, and materials. Questions? Contact Mrs. Melanie Schoeneck (262.677.4051 x4018; melanie.schoeneck@kmlhs.org).
