 September 7, 2023 From the President’s Pen Dear KML Family, I am often asked how the beginning of the school year is going. The short and easy answer is that it has been great! Our new faculty and staff have transitioned well into the KML family. Our seniors and upperclassmen are exhibiting strong Christian leadership as they model Living God’s Way, and our freshmen have acclimated to the high school setting. For all of this, we are thankful. We ask God to continue his watch over our entire KML family as we grow together in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and prepare for a blessed future. Blessings, President Luehring

KML Athletic Admission/Passes/Directions to Games New this year, KML is pleased to announce that we will be using GoFan for digital ticketing. Fans can purchase tickets online through the Kettle Moraine Lutheran GoFan page: gofan.co/app/school/WI19447. Fans are encouraged to buy tickets online prior to reaching the facility. For your convenience, signage will be set up at the venue to help fans navigate an online purchase quickly and easily. Tickets can also be purchased by presenting a card or mobile payment option at the ticket gate. All major credit cards are accepted along with Apple Pay and Google Pay. Chargers for the Cure! Please support KML’s fall Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser by purchasing and wearing a PINK OUT shirt. All proceeds will be donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin’s breast cancer research department. Shirts will be available to pre-order through NOON on Friday, September 8, 2023. We will have a very limited number of shirts for sale after the pre-order on a first-come basis. We highly suggest ordering in advance. There are TWO ways to order:

4th Annual Autism Awareness Football Game & T-Shirt Ordering KML football is now taking orders for this year’s Autism Awareness t-shirts which you can wear in support of KML football at the game on September 21 and also help the Autism Awareness Society of Wisconsin in their efforts to assist families of those who are on the Autism Spectrum. Each $15 t-shirt you purchase will allow KML to make a $6 donation to the Autism Society. The football program has set a goal to raise more than $2500. Our opponent for this year’s Autism Awareness game on September 21, Ripon High School, will be partnering with us by purchasing shirts as well. Because this event is happening in less than a month, ordering time is limited and urgent. Order a shirt through September 7 at 6:00 PM at kmlhs.org/autismtee. Please order under your student’s name. (Check with your student to avoid duplicate ordering!) Each shirt you order will be billed to your student’s account. If you’d like to order multiple shirts, please complete the order form more than once. T-shirts will be distributed at school in advance of the football game. Questions? Set Builder(s) Needed for Children’s Theatre KML’s Theatre Department is in need of adult volunteers to build the set for the fall production of Charlotte’s Web. Construction would take place in early October. For more information, please email Mr. Matt Linton (matt.linton@kmlhs.org).

If you’re not a current SCRIP user, now is a great time to become one! Start earning credit toward tuition/school fees, or receive a cash rebate on your purchases. If you didn’t know, you don’t have to have a student currently enrolled or be making tuition payments to benefit from SCRIP. Stop in the Main Office or visit kmlhs.org/scrip to learn more.
