From the President’s Pen

Dear KML Family,

It is hard to believe we have nearly completed our fourth week of school! I am often asked how the beginning of the school year is going. The short and easy answer is that it has been great! Our new faculty and staff have transitioned well into the KML family. Our seniors and upperclassmen are exhibiting strong Christian leadership as they model Living God’s Way, and our freshmen have acclimated to the high school setting. For all of this, we are thankful. We ask God to continue his watch over our entire KML family as we grow together in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and prepare for a blessed future.

Blessings,

President Luehring

Chargers for the Cure

Please support KML’s fall Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser by purchasing and wearing a PINK OUT shirt. All proceeds will be donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin’s breast cancer research department.

Shirts are available to pre-order through September 9, 2022. We will have a very limited number of shirts for sale after the pre-order on a first-come basis. We highly suggest ordering in advance.

There are TWO ways to order:

  1. KML students, faculty and staff members can place an order through a Google form which will be emailed directly to their KML email account on September 2. Students can order for their family members as well with parent permission. Student accounts will be charged directly for all orders placed. All sales are final.
  2. Anyone can order at the online link: www.kmlhs.org/pinkshirt. Shirts will be delivered to the KML student indicated in the order, or can be picked up from the Activities Office after September 30. Payment MUST be made via credit card.

*Just a reminder to not double up on the ordering process – either order through your student account OR with the online link. All sales are final. Please contact Mrs. Amy Nass (amy.nass@kmlhs.org) with order questions.

Show your support by wearing your PINK OUT shirts at the following KML home sporting events:

  • Soccer – Oct. 3 – KML vs. Lake Country Lutheran
  • Cross Country – Oct. 5 – KML Schools Cross Country Meet
  • Volleyball – Oct. 6 – KML vs. Plymouth
  • Football – Oct. 7 – KML vs. Sheboygan Falls

Many of us know someone affected by this disease – now we have the chance to show our support by wearing a shirt and financially helping in the research effort!

If you wish to make a direct donation or additional donation, please contact Mrs. Amy Nass (amy.nass@kmlhs.org) for more information.

Thank you for your support and prayers!
