3K-4K Teaching Position

Morning Star Lutheran is seeking names of those in our area WELS/ELS congregations who are interested and eligible for a one-year call to teach 3K & 4K for the 2021-22 school year. 3K classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:10 – 11:15 AM. 4K classes are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:10 AM – 3:15 PM. We would be willing to consider separating the two positions to accommodate the availability of the teacher.

The candidate must have an education degree and a desire to serve Jesus through Christian education. Experience in teaching early childhood is preferred. Learning Center Teacher

Morning Star Lutheran is seeking names of those in our area WELS/ELS congregations to fill a one year part-time teaching position for our Learning Center. We would ask you to work up to 29 hours per week with individual students and their teachers for remedial or extended learning in the areas of language arts and math. The daily schedule is set in coordination with teachers who have identified students needing extra help.

Our well-established Learning Center has a dedicated room with many resources to help guide instruction of the students:

  • F&P assessment materials – to measure student’s reading level
  • Literacy Footprints Library of K-4 materials
  • O-G based curriculum: “From Sounds to Spellings”
  • Many manipulatives, such as magnet letters, phonics cubes, knitting screens, and math manipulatives

1st Grade Teacher’s Aide Position

Morning Star Lutheran School in Jackson has one part-time aide position available for the 2021-2022 school year. The aide is needed to assist the lead teacher in 1st grade.
