Heritage Society

The Heritage Society is our way of recognizing those who include KML in their estate plans.

Estate planning through your will, living trust, or insurance policy is a God-pleasing example of love for those who are important to you even after the Lord has taken you home. You can protect God’s earthly gifts from government taxes and probate courts simply by having a detailed will. Other options available are charitable gift annuities, stocks and mutual funds, charitable remainder trusts, and charitable lead trusts.

Include KML or the KML Foundation in your estate plans and leave a legacy to further the ministry at your high school. Whether it be bequests, wills, trusts, charitable gift annuities, life insurance, etc., KML can help you so that your wishes are in place.

Your deferred gift to KML can be designated in a variety of ways to enhance the KML ministry: operating needs, capital needs, and tuition assistance needs.

Your deferred gift to the KML Foundation will be invested and preserved to ensure long-term ministry support. Each year, a significant portion of the investment will be added to the tuition assistance program. Other special programs could also be funded through income from the foundation.

Lifetime Partners

We thank the Lord for our Lifetime Partners who have faithfully pledged their gifts weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly for life or until they notify us differently. These gifts are given to the operating fund, capital/debt reduction, or student assistance.

Macedonian Circle

“And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints.”

2 Corinthians 8: 1-4 (NIV ®)

Who are the Macedonians?
The people in the Macedonian churches were moved by faith to live generous lives for others. Their example was used to inspire others to give. Read 2 Corinthians 8 to see the power of God in your life of service and stewardship. Then ask yourself these three questions…

  1. Why should I consider the Macedonian Circle?
All gifts of any size make you a member in the “Circle of Friends” of KML. Some members may strongly consider their gifts in a long-term pledge. As the KML “Macedonian Circle” grows you will always be surrounded and encouraged by a growing number of people who believe in the undeniable value of Christian training for generations to come.
  2. What is the benefit of the Macedonian Circle for KML?
Long-term pledges for the People and Programs (operating budget) of KML allow us to create a better strategy for a growing ministry to our Federation and teenagers. Your long term pledge to Capital and Debt Reduction will help the federation pay for the expanded building much faster than a mortgage.
  3. What is the benefit of the Macedonian Circle for me?
You get to decide how much your pledge will be. More importantly, you decide how your gifts will be used. Beyond the regular tax advantages, the joy of using God’s bounty for building his kingdom will grow with a “Circle” of fellow believers.

Whether for People and Programs (operating) or Capital and Debt Reduction, a commitment for three years allows KML to create a better strategy for a growing ministry to our Federation and teenagers. Your long-term support helps the programs to flourish and will fund the people who teach and learn.
