Dear KML Family,
The excitement continues to build as we are looking forward to opening face to face with a virtual option on our first day of school – Wednesday, August 19. We consider ourselves blessed to be able to offer a Christian education that supports the spiritual, social, emotional, and academic needs of our students in a safe way. We can’t wait!
This is just a friendly reminder regarding the changes we have made to orientation. Please review the notes below and reach out with any questions. Our goal continues to be to hold events like orientation face to face with as many people as possible in a safe way. This format will allow for more social distancing and less interaction between large groups of people.
COVID-19 Mitigation Guidelines
- Please wear a face covering unless you have a condition that is considered an exemption.
- Please practice social distancing to every degree possible.
- Please stay home if you have a fever or if you have symptoms that make you suspect that you have COVID-19.
Participants
We are asking only freshman students, new students, and their parents to attend. In the past, we have allowed all students and parents, but we want to limit the number of people present.
This is not a required event. Parents or students who feel uncomfortable or unsafe may choose not to attend. In that case, a mentor will still be in contact with each freshman student. Parent information will be shared via livestream and recorded for those who choose that option. View the livestream.

God Bless,
Principal Luehring
