2026 Fall Double Feature

Friday, October 30, 7:00 PM
Saturday, October 31, 2:00 PM

Fall Children’s Theater:

“Gabby suspects something is going on in the library at night, so she enlists the help of her best friend, Paige, to do some sleuthing. Together they hide in the library after it closes and discover a book containing a cryptic poem. As Paige and Gabby decipher the poem, they find clues that enable them to bring fictional characters to life, starting with Jim Hawkins from Treasure Island. Jim helps them summon even more characters from other books and soon, the library is overrun with the denizens of literature — Humpty Dumpty, the Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland, Anne of Green Gables, Romeo, and others. Things are definitely out of hand, but they take a turn for the worse when — shiver me timbers! — Long John Silver is inadvertently brought to life. The pirate sets out on a thieving spree, and he’s not afraid to use his cutlass to get what he wants! It’s up to Paige, Gabby and Jim to defeat the pirate and return the characters to their stories before the library reopens. All that’s necessary for a happy ending is courage, ingenuity… and one more character brought to life.”

2027 Winter Musical

Finding Neverland

(licensed through MTI)

Friday & Saturday, February 19 & 20, 7:00 PM
Sunday, February 21, 2:00 PM

“Based on the Academy Award-winning motion picture and the play The Man Who Was Peter Pan, Finding Neverland follows the relationship between playwright J.M. Barrie and the family that inspired Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up. Finding Neverland features music and lyrics by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy and a book by James Graham.

J.M. Barrie, a struggling playwright, encounters a widowed mother, Sylvia Llewelyn Davies and her four sons in Kensington Park. As Barrie befriends the family, he is inspired by their adventures, particularly Peter, who is reluctant to play due to his grief. Barrie helps him to learn to play again and becomes inspired to create a new art form: children’s theatre. But who will pay to see a play about children? Who will play these characters? And how will they make Peter Pan fly?”
